Buffalo Botanical Gardens

Just south of downtown Buffalo, you’ll find the Buffalo Botanical Gardens, designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, landscape architect of the Buffalo parks system, as well as of New York City’s Central Park and Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. Comprised of more than 12 houses and complemented by three outdoor gardens, the Gardens is a super serene destination for a calm afternoon and can be explored with about an hour to an hour and a half of time.

frank lloyd wright's martin house & graycliff

For those with an eye for architecture, Buffalo is home to not one but two Frank Lloyd Wright masterpieces. Martin House is located in the Parkside neighborhood, not far from the church, while Graycliff is farther outside the city, as it was one of Mr. Wright’s client’s summer homes. Tour details are available on their respective websites and tickets should be purchased in advance.
